Dishonest Business. Did warranty work that was covered 100% (labor, parts, taxes, etc) on my Jeep Wrangler & did not let me know "they had to make a profit" prior to them surprise billing me for another $400! When confronting them about their practices I was met with the excuse of "We thought we told you but, hey we gotta make a profit." If I would have known prior I would have still authorized the repair because my car was already with them but surprise billing on completion of job is SHADY BUSINESS! I tried to put good faith in them again today when dropping off my vehicle for an oil change since they changed it last & I was quoted $500 because the previous tech that "no longer works there" over-torqued my oil filter & they would have to "break the housing" to get it off. Yet when confronting them about this I was met with a blatant lie of "we didn't change your oil last" , yet when they repaired my oil cooler prior an oil change was REQUIRED. I ended up taking my car down the road & they quoted me $150 to take off the filter, replace it & change the oil! Immoral & fraudulent repair shop that can't take accountability for their mistakes. Would not be surprised if the owner left a shamless passive agressive review, just like they did with all the other complaints prior to me!
We don’t do “warranty” work. You’re referring to your aftermarket repair contract. They wanted to use used parts to repair your vehicle. We don’t use used parts. They will only pay the amount to do the repair using used parts. So they would not pay the total amount needed to cover the repair using new parts. You were informed of the difference between the amount they would pay vs. the amount we charged. I don’t expect you to remember this judging by the cloud of pot smoke that exits your vehicle every time the door is opened. As for the oil change, we replace your oil cooler assembly in 8/22 at 131k miles. The oil cooler comes with a new oil filter already installed. We did complete the oil change by draining and refilling the oil. On 5/25/23 and 142k miles you brought your Jeep to us to have an oil change because you had stripped the oil filter cap trying to get it off. I understand why, because it was ridiculously over tightened. Why didn’t do that though. For 1, the oil filter was already installed in the oil cooler when we bought it from the dealership. We never even touched it. For 2, there was tamper seal installed on the oil cap. That’s something that we don’t use. Walmart uses that. Because they’ve had shady people loose their drain plug and/or oil filter to cause intentional damage to their engine so that Walmart would be liable to replace it for them. The tamper seal was also installed on your drain plug. We have pictures of all of this and showed it to you. The fact is, you had your oil changed sometime between in the 11k miles since we replaced the oil cooler, but apparently don’t remember… again too much pot smoking I suspect. We quoted you $500 to re replace the oil cooler if it were to break in the process of trying to remove the oil cap. We like to prepare people for the worst case scenario ahead of time. You were not prepared to chance it, so we pulled the vehicle out. I’m glad to hear that the worst case scenario didn’t end up happening. More money for weed. Enjoy.
